One of those days

25 Jan

You know those days when you are sleep deprived, and so are your kids, and you have many bags of groceries to put away, and your five year old has been asking for days to do the “pudding painting” project in her magazine? And you know how your overwhelmed and delusional brain thinks, I can be a good mom and let my kids paint with pudding and in the meantime get my groceries put away?

Yah, you know those same days when two minutes later you are cleaning food coloring-ed pudding off of the rug and walls and kids and dogs while your groceries still sit in bags on the counter?

You know those days?
Me too.

Yes, I do. But it really is worth it…30 years from now.

You are just more anchored in reality than I am! But if you want an activity that is really messy and entertains kids for full seconds you should try pudding painting! I will even let you borrow my dogs for clean up!
