Ali, as you turn five years old you continue to live up to your middle name and bring us so much joy!
You are sweet, sensitive and nurturing, and best of all you are an encourager to us all. You love to give gifts to your friends and family. You are cautious and cuddly, and even though you are growing up so fast you still prefer curling up with a cup of milk to watch a show to almost any other activity. Your favorite shows this week are Curious George and Dinosaur Train, but that will change to Strawberry Shortcake or Cat in the Hat next week. Each evening you ask to read story after story from your Bible, and you show your love for Jesus by the way you love your family and the songs you make up for him.
You are slowly but surely adjusting to life as a preschool student, and you know what? You are doing a lot better than you think you are. You have high expectations for yourself, and desire so deeply to please the many grown-ups who love you.
And we do all love you very much; your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and teachers. So happy fifth birthday baby big girl. I am so very proud to be your momma!
